Hanover Gate Mansions:
Mo felt the redesigning of the gardens needed a new modern approach with a classical spirit. Key pollinator friendly plants are combined into cloud shaped shrubs interplayed with natural planting contours. Keeping a fine balance that echoes the Mansion’s stately exterior with a more 21st century natural approach to garden design.
The Regents Park area has an impressive rich variety of wildlife. The central London location supports over 21 species of butterflies. Some unusual butterfly records for the area include the Marble White and the White Letter Hairstreak. Plus over 330 other types of invertebrates.
The area also attracts over 200 species of birds plus an annual list of 114 species.
Mo designed the gardens using plant varieties with overlapping fragrant flowering seasons attracting pollinators, which in turn entices songbirds to the gardens all year round. The design maximizes the benefits of direct nature exposure for the residents through sensory stimulation, which helps to lower blood pressure, reduce heart rates and stress levels, among many other benefits.
